Our story
The past
It was 1914 when our Company moved its first steps and originally started to manufacture agricultural tools.
Officine di Cortabbio was officially established in 1951, when the incoming demand for quality forged components for the Oil and Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical Industry began to take place. The Company then shifted its production, changing its roots into the flange manufacturing.
The present
Today Officine di Cortabbio is a leader in Europe for the manufacturing of steel flanges to be used in oil plants, gas pipeline and aqueducts.
We have availability of an important stock of finished, semi-finished and forging products that allows us to satisfy our Customers’ needs, even with the most urgent inquiries.
Our modern production and testing machinery, our steadfast check of the production proceed allow us to always grant the highest quality standards and reliability.
On top of the highest quality of its products, Officine di Cortabbio has the “perfect” dimension to offer both good production capacities along with “tailored” flexibility capabilities towards our Customers.
The future
Officine di Cortabbio’s main goal will remain improving quality by introducing strictest quality checks before, during and after the whole production process, from raw material to the final single piece.
New materials are planned to be produced and stocked in a short future and made available on a steady basis.
The Company will constantly invest in new production machinery to always keep abreast of the latest production possibilities coming from recent technological innovations.
